Fun Antiques quiz evening
On Wednesday 18 th February we enjoyed a Fun Antiques Quiz evening organised by the Fundraising team led by Sheila Weatherburn. Salvation Army Christmas Toys Appeal
Major Andrew Vertigan, Commanding Officer, at York Salvation Army, spoke to York Rotary on the 6th February informing the club of the First Christmas Annual Toy Appeal, under his leadership. He was involved at Christmas 2024 before officially being appointed in January. He made a number of changes for Christmas 2025, to streamline much of the process leading up to a record amount of families and children, having gifts at Christmas. A University for Public Good - York University
On January 16 th we were delighted and honoured to receive, as our guest, Professor Charlie Jeffery, Vice-Chancellor of the University of York.
