FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND INITIATIVES

York Rotary aims to raise over £100,000 per annum to use for the support of charitable causes.  A significant amount of the funding is raised via the annual York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge, but other events and initiatives raise funds:

  • Refreshment sales and stalls at St Crux, normally held twice a year

  • Concerts and one off fundraising events

  • Raffles and similar collections

  • Riviera Travel Affinity scheme (See below)

     

It is possible to earn commission for York Rotary via a Riviera Affinity Scheme.  If procedures are correctly followed Riviera Travel will pay York Rotary 10% of the basic holiday cost.  To qualify bookings need to closely follow the required conditions, for more information click here
