DRAGON BOATS NORTH BANK GALA (2024)
In conjunction with the racing event, we also have a Gala on the North Bank of the River, where the public can watch the racing and enjoy the fun of stalls, competitions, music, food and drink; and learn about local charities.
TAKING A STALL (CHARITIES)
Charities wishing to join the fun and take a pitch on the North riverbank are invited to apply online using the form on the application page
There is a nominal booking fee of £30 for a "pitch" and charities provide their own tables, gazebos etc. Most pitches are 3x3 metres; a few are 4x4 metres.
We take care of City Licencing requirements for Charity stalls, and there is no additional charge for this. We do require stallholders to have evidence of the their Public Liability insurance.
There is an unloading/loading area at Marygate Landing and a limited number of trolleys available for charities to use for transporting their equipment and supplies to their "pitch". We can usually provide free car parking within walking distance from the riverbank, for up to two stallholder's vehicles.

COMMERCIAL STALLS (FOOD & BEVERAGE)
We have very limited availability of sites for food and beverage stalls. Additional fees for commercial licencing are payable.
