The photograph above shows the two students Isaac and Phoebe who were sponsored by the three Rotary Clubs in York to attend a 6 day Outward Bound Course in the Lake District, along with their tutor Lizzie. You will remember that RYLA had to be cancelled this year due to illness and we were able to offer this course as an alternative for these two students. Early on Sunday 2nd August 13 York Rotary members and Friends provided baggage handling services for the York 10K. This is the first event of the season where we provide baggage handling or marshalling services. The arrangements were different this year, instead of using trailers to store the bags this year a large shelter and tables were provided.
