Local Community Involvement, International Outlook
Our "flagship" fundraising event has raised over £1.1m in 16 years. The next event is 14th July 2019.
Over 600 take part in these spectacular races, the premier event on the River Ouse in York, combining a fantastic day out with raising money for local charities.

We're a diverse group of experienced men and women from a wide range of backgrounds with a dynamic and positive outlook
We meet Friday lunchtimes to have fun and friendship and to hear interesting speakers
We're determined to make our city, region and the world beyond a better place for some of those less fortunate than ourselves.
We believe in having fun! - but also in "Service above Self" - giving back something to our community, and making a difference

An annual competition for local schools, offering youngsters a creative Technology challenge. Next event will be in February 2020.

A group of 65 professionals, charities and individuals from all backgrounds who want to support Rotary and our Club in its work, and have fun with networking and social events. And it's free!

Our Rotary Club in association with York Music Hub run this very successful annual event each year, as part of the National Rotary Young Musician competition.
The next competition will be held on November 17th 2019, as part of the National Rotary Young Musician competition.

YOUNG MUSICIAN
A new programme being offered in 2018-19 for parents of new babies born in York to have a tree planted to celebrate their happy event as a free gift to the environment.
