Charity:  The event is in aid of the Butterfly Foundation for Peace which works with disadvantaged children in Malawi.  The Foundation works with the Children of Malawi to develop their self-esteem and education.  The programme is structured to ensure that there is a transformation and evolution in the lives of the children being supported.

Model Railway:

​

As an added attraction we hope it will be possible to look at or even ride on the 3.5", 5" and 7.25" model railways, run by the Ryedale Society of Model Engineers, which surround the village hall.
