Charity Coffee Morning

On Monday 16rh March the Community Services Team hosted the annual Charity Coffee morning at the Novotel Hotel. Twenty-two charities, who had been supported by York Rotary, accept the invitation to attend. They were hosted by ten members of York Rotary.

President Paul Roberts welcomed the participants thanking them for their service during the past year and confirming again York Rotaries pleasure and privilege in being able to offer support.

Not only is the occasion an opportunity for York Rotary to encourage local charities in their highly valued work but it is also a unique opportunity for charities to network with each other. Charity representatives also use the opportunity to inform Rotarians of their current and future needs which is helpful to the ongoing work of the Community Services Team.

Once again the event proved to be a most worthwhile inclusion in the annual Rotary calendar and the contribution of the Novotel in making provision for the event is warmly acknowledged.
